Hi all,
I have activated VERSION management.When I am changing PO system not ask reason and not created next version
Pl help me.

HI Vivek,
in SPRO MM->Purchasing-> Version Management-> Define version Management for External Purchasing Documents.
Please check the following :
What document type you have set the Version management active ?
Which purchase Org you have selected ?
In control Data whether Version Active is ticked and Version 0 ok is ticked and furhter
check whether you have made the Reason entry and Required field.

Version management in Purchasing active
Indicates whether or not the version management facility is active.
Use
You can specify whether or not it is possible to create different versions of documents belonging to a certain combination of document category, document type, and purchasing organization.
Note
In the case of purchase requisitions, the version management facility is activated independently of the purchasing organisation. Therefore, do not populate the purchasing organization field.
Example
If you select the indicator for the combination purchasing organization 0001, document category purchase order, and document type NB, you will be able to create different versions of purchase orders of type NB belonging to purchasing organization 0001.
