Vendor partner function in PO

I have configured an output message from my allocation STO created through PO (Allocation table).

If my PO has partner function OA, then my output is determined in my STO.

If my PO does not have partner function OA, then my output is not determined in my STO during creation, but if I go in STO change mode. My output is populated.

Even for some other random scenario, my STO output type is not populated in the STO created from allocation. But when I open the STO in change mode, the output type is displayed in my output message.

Check STO message type have OA partner function in NACE and make sure you have OA partner function in your message condition record. Also check in SPRO in fine tunned segment in STO message type configuration - you have print indicators 1 (new) and 2 (change) for your STO message type!

Did you mention in condition record also Partner functions which are used in other scenarios? (you can check via transaction MN05)

Regarding create / change issue -> please check fine-tunning configuration:

SPRO -> Material Management-> Purchasing -> Message -> Output Control->Message Types->Define message type for purchase order->Fine-Tuned Control: Purchase Order
