VB.NET 2005 Add-on does not run

Hi,

I made an Add-On in Visual Basic.NET 2005, and it works great on my computer. But I install it to a Windows 2003 Server and it generates an unhandled exception error when I use it. I install .NET framework 2.0 as well. I use SAPBobsCOM67.dll, but I could not regist it with regsvr32.dll. Need I regist it? Or need I install something else to the server except framework? What is the problem? I'm going to crazy...

Hi István,

I think I have heard that Visual Studio 2005 is not supported yet for B1 AddOns. I suppose that is the problem.

The SAPBobsCOM67.dll library doesn´t need to be registered. You just need to install the DI API (same patch level as B1).

Hope helps,

Hi,

It is wrong !

I use myself Visual Studio 2005 (and VB.NET) for computing.

I work on SBO 2004A.

The only pre-requisite for using add-ons with SBO is to install the framework 2.0 on the PC where the add-on will be used.

Hope it helps.

Hi Damien,

I hope to be mistaken. Can anybody from SAP clear this issue?

Hi,

Do you have installed the SP1 of Windows 2003?

I have seen messages which said that there are problems with Windows 2003 SP1.
