Hi,

Is there any function module to get BOM explosion and routing depending on the characteristic values as import parameter, similar to transaction CU50?

Thanks in advance,

Lokman Ceylan

Dear Lokman

Try : CS_BOM_EXPLOSION

Else try with CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2

Dear Narayana,

Thanks for the reply, but these two FMs you proposed have no import field for characteristic input. I need a FM that I can simulatively configure the product by using that FM without using any MTO sales order that have already been configured.

Hi,

In a report, we need variant configuration component list and task list. We have characteristic values and quantitites for the header(root) material. Without using any sales order item and CUOBJ, ıs there any FM that can configure the compont and task list depending on our characteristic values?

Hello,

Thanks for the quick reply. But this FM requires instance. That is, it needs a sales order that configured before.

Hi All,

You can use the FM 'BAPI_UI_GETDETAIL' to read the Characteristic Grouping detail in CU50.

You can use the FM 'BAPI_UI_SAVEM' or IDOC 'VCUI_SAVEM02' to create Characteristic Grouping tabs in CU50.

Hope this solves your query.

Hello Lokman,

There is no Bapi or FM who does that as it involves a lot of other programs and access to different tables. You need to the values first and then select the bom based on that . Therefore you will need to have a full program to do this.

CU50 is the only simulation transaction

Thanks
