Hi,
Check OSS: Note 407812 - MB52 with value display. What needs to be taken into account. Also check transaction MBBS.

MATERIAL PLANT SLOC S SPCL STOCK NO. BATCH UNREST. VALUE UNRS
123 plant1 chn E 123456/30 abcde 100 0.00
123 plant2 ban pqrst 155 152000.00
123 plant2 ban lmnop 500 8000000.00
here for stock type E i need value quantity is 100.. in MMBE for that it s showing as sales order stock.
is it possible to bring the value of that 100 quantities ?
Hi,
For special stock " sales order stock" Consumption accounting entry will be booked at the time of transfer, that's why system will not show the value in MB52.
I mean System will passes the entry Credit to stock A/C and debit to COGS A/C.
The above accounting entry means stock is no longer valuated at your place, costs to COGS is already booked.
This entry is similar to PGI, So No value for this special stock.
For other special stocks, stock is valuated at our place. for example Stock lying at subcontractor, physically stock is not in our plant/premises still stock is valuated as our stock.
Hope this answers your query.

Ravi

there is a field called valuation among the field list in MB52.
get this into your display and tell me the character displayed in that field. is it a A or a M or just blank ?
then put the cursor into this column and press F1.
SAP will explain you the difference between valuated and non-valuated special stock.
Dear Jürgen L
It s blank.. so it is non valuated rite ..? is there anyway to change that into valuated ?
Not possible for the existing sales order stock,
This is actually customizing made by CO folks:so you better get in touch with them
SPRO > Controling > Product Cost Controlling > Cost Object Controlling > Product Cost By Sales Order > Control of Sales Order Related Production
In Check Requirement Classes you define how he sales order stock will be handled from valuation point of view.
Thank u everyone !!!

I have never worked with non-valuated sales order stock, so I am not sure here and can just repeat what the SAP help is saying, that the costs are posted to a cost collector and cannot be seen until a settlement is made at the end of the month. But these costs can certainly not be seen in MB52 after this settlement.
Please get in touch with your CO team colleague who is in charge for product costing. He can eventually tell you some CO reports where you can see those costs.
transfer postings have been done for that material so that the values r not showing in MB52.

Hi,
Select no Zero stock lines in Mb52 input screen.
MB52 shows lines items without stock also.
As there is no stock qty, system is showing zero value.

12345 chennai chn1 abc 10000

It is not an free item. is it the case like this. if the material is used for transfer postings it wont show values..??? i hav another material in which two s.loc has the material one has 4 batches and other has 6 batches. transfrer postings has been done between two sloc's. IN MB52 report it shows bothe the sloc and the total quantity not the batches and similarly it s not showing the values for both.
Case 1: If transfer posting is in between two storage locations for one material then system will not update accounting document.
Case 2: If transfer posting between two materials having different storage locations(mvt 309) then system will generate accounting document. Here if price changes in this posting system will give your warning message "Price change amount XX% for the month XX/2012'
For above cases check tables MCHB, MCHBH, MCHA, MARD, MARDH, MARC, MARCH. You may find differences in these tables. And also check your selection criteria in report MB52.
Value of the stock is determined from prices maintained/updated in MMR whatever may be price control.
If that price is zero, then stock value will be zero.
Example will be of FOC Materials.(Free Of Cost).

Nilesh

Hi,
Please check as found information about MB52.
You use this report to display the total stock of a material (quantity and value) at plant and storage location level. If transit stocks or stock transfer stocks exist at plant level, the system totals these stocks and displays them in the column <ZH>In Stock Transfer</> in a stock line without a storage location.
Note that in this report, the stock value of the warehouse stock is calculated using the following simplified formula:
Stock value = quantity x value/valuated stock
Therefore the stock value specified here only has informal characters
and does not represent the actual stock value.
Also check transaction code: J3RFLVMOBVED. May be helpful.
