Hi SAP Experts,
After the billing doc when accounting docs in generated it is having 4 line itmes 3 are for different types of taxes. Now along with Accouting doc there is also a COPA doc generated. My issue is that out of the 3 different types of taxes that we see in the line item of acc doc (FB03), one tax is missing in the COPA doc.
I mean the Value Fields only updates 2 taxes and the 1 is been skipped.
I have 2 question:
1. How does this value fields gets picked up in COPA docs?
2. How to check why the 1 tax line is been skipped ?
Thanks in advance for your reply
Regards.
Hi
Check whether the GL account associated is a Balance sheet account... Your GL needs to be a CE Catg 11 or 12 in order to update to COPA
Another option is statistical cond type - You can create another Stat Cond Type which represents the value of tax condition type and then mapp it in KE4I to a Val Field

Hi Vijayendra,
Execute report S_SL0_21000007 for the company code and tax GL and check where the GL value has been posted in Controlling.
Another thing to check the assignment of SD condition type to COPA Value Field in KE4I.

hi
Normally tax recovery accounts and treated as current liabilities and they
are nullified once recovered amount is paid....
But if you are treating tax recovery as revenue and tax payment as
expenditure then u have to create tax recovery account as a
revenue element with Cat.11
Then if u really want to transfer them to COPA go to OKB9 and
assign the tax account to profitability segment.
Then u can transfer taxes to COPA.
