Hi Experts,

One of our client wants to block one business area for posting. How to block business area for posting? Please help.

Also, don't forget to prevent the determination of this business area (e.g. in SD), otherwise you may end up with a lot of documents that you cannot easily correct.

Hi - the easiest way is to remove authorization to post to that business area.

Review the current roles using SUIM transaction for business area auth object F_BKPF_GSB and remove the authorization to post to that business area

You can create the validation for the business area, and use the message as "The business area XXXX is blocked for posting.

Validation Prerequisite :business area = XXXX

Validation Check : Busniess area = XXXX

Message: The business area XXXX is blocked for posting.Correct the business area.

When pre-requisite corresponds to check, it is more accurate to put TRUE in the pre-requisites.
