V_T7INU5 - Not able to transport

Former Member

Hi

I am in ECC5

Changes that I am doing in V_T7INU5 is not getting captured in any transport request. The transport button is disabled in 'Table View' and 'Edit' in the top bar inside the table.

In SM30 after I put this table and click on the 'Transport' button, it shows "Transport is not possible for the specified data"

Transport is not possible for the specified data

Message no. SV142

Diagnosis

You want to copy data from a table or a view into a change request manually. This function is not intended for these data.

The data are either purely local, so that they can not be transported, or they are copied into the change request by a separate function. This can e.g. be the case for components of a more complex transport object.

System response

The requested function can not be carried out. Processing is terminated.

Procedure

Please contact your system manager.

In QA, which is a closed system, this table is open for config.

Do we have to do the config directly in QA like Number Range?

Can you please check with below information which I could find in this regard :

First Option :

The transport connection is probably switched OFF,

Goto Transaction SE54 > Table/View: V_T7INU5,

You will see radio button: 'Generated Objects'

Recording routine needs to be set to 'Standard recording routine' if changes should be recorded automatically

Second Option :

There exists no released transport request for the object, which will be used for new recordings

R3TR VDAT V_T7INU5

This you can check as follows:

Start Transaction: SE03

Doubelclick 'Search for Objects in Requests/Tasks'

Enter: R3TR VDAT V_T7INU5

Set flag 'Also Search for Subobjects (not for generic entry)

Set flag 'Modifiable'

The autoamtic recording also depends on the client settings in SCC4.

Goto SCC4 transaction.

Open the details of the client you have logged in. For client specific settings, set it to "Automatic recording of

changes".

With these settings, any change made to the client specific object in client will be automatically asked to record the changes into a transport request.

Hope this might help.

Best Regards
