User parameters cleared automatically(SU01 code)

Experts,

User parameters(SU01) got deleted automatically for a handful of users. They use abapCRM WebUI for business transactions. 

I found SAP Note 2020718 for this issue. However, when I tried to replicate the problem based on the steps mentioned in the note, I noticed that user parameters were not wiped off. I didn't find any other note or thread related to this behavior. 

Can you please suggest any solution for this behavior?
