User exit or badi when accounting document is getting created

Hello all,

is there a badi or user Exit that provides real time Information when Accounting document is getting created for a customer.

For one of our Interfaces we Need to Transfer this Information on real time Basis.

Checked out some threads and tried out some Badis and user Exits but they are not being hit when document is gettingposted.

Also tried out with SE24 to find the badi but its also not the right one.

Our requirement is real time Information when doc is posted and also when its cleared.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Chakravarthy

You need it for Outbound or Inbound interface?

If it is outbound, I will suggest run the program at EOD, so that you dont have to bother the system at the end of each posting

Hello, there are definitely user exits available at the time of the FI document creation.

But the easiest thing to do usually is a substitution (transaction GGB1).

You can configure a substitution, attach a user exit to it and in that user exit make updates/ pass the information that you need.

If you need a user exit then those are defined in SAP under the transaction CMOD (you'll have to set up a project there first) and then look at the Enhancements available. Or you can search SAP Developers network (SCN) for FI posting user exits, which might be a faster way to find the particular names.

For example for AR documents there is SDVFX002 -User exit for A/R line in transfer to accounting    User exit FM EXIT_SAPLV60B_002

Hi,

Substitution is very problematic for this task. At the time substitution is triggered, document creation transaction is not committed and the registry in the table is not completed.

Thanks with CMOD we are getting the Infos, we Need to search further for the documents that would be direclty posted in the FI.
