Hi Kedalene,

there is no pop up when you press ALT SHIFT F2 ?
Please find attached some screenshot they might help you.

Please be aware the query does not run when u are using the preview because the system does not know what $[38.1.0] is.

Please choose an fitting Auto Refresh to your needs.

Kind regards

Tobias

Hi Tobias

Finally I understand how it works!. The formatted search result is correct using SELECT T0.[U_LINK] FROM OITM T0 where T0.ItemCode=$[RDR1.ItemCode]

Hi Kedalene,

yes, you can do this with User defined Fields with the Document Line.
Enter the Field within the Document Line and Press ALT SHIFT F2.

There you can define the rule

SELECT "yourUDF" FROM "OITM" WHERE "OITM"."ItemCode" = $[$38.1.0]

Hi Kedalene,

It is possible, using the method described by sidestep_tobias_schwarz, with one small exception. This does not work for fields of type General - link: "Enter the Field within the Document Line and Press ALT SHIFT F2."

Instead you need to press and hold SHIFT and ALT, and then double-click on the field.

Johan

Hi Kedalene,

"...your steps cannot work on this kind of Link Structure User Defined Field"

I tested these steps successfully in my system, so can you please elaborate on how they do not work for you?

Johan
