What is the use of .mdf file OR .ldf file into SSMS? What is the use of it?
What happened if there size are auto increased?

MDF file is the primary data file of a SQL database.
The . LDF file is the transaction log file of a SQL database. The transaction log is used to guarantee the data integrity of the database and for data recovery.
