Upload General Journal error

When trying to upload the General Journal, i am getting below error,

Tax code P0 may not contain a nondeductible portionDiagnosis

In the case of direct postings to tax accounts, no tax codes containing a nondeductible portion to be distributed may be used.

Procedure

Please use another tax code. You might have to define a separate tax code, that does not contain a nondeductible portion, for direct postings to a tax account.

Hi Priyank,

I think you’re trying to post directly into a Tax (Reconciliation) Account that (normally) is just affected by other processes like sales or procurement.

I suggest that you try to post manually what you’re trying to upload in the Excel Spreadsheet since the messages are usually easier to read/fix.

That said, if the requirement is to post into Tax accounts then you have the option to use the “Post Tax Payables”  App. You can see the link to the Fiori App to see the functionalities and Limitations.

If this info doesn't help please add the screenshot of the file you're trying to upload or the Post General Journal Entry App so the community can suggest additional alternatives.
