Dear guys,
Sorry for stupid question, but do you think is-it feasible to upload HR datas from a excel flat file directly to Nakisa? The goal is to display OM view (Org unit + position + person, ...).
My concern is my customer has not yet SAP and is not an option to plugg the current tool and nakisa.
So, from my point of view, the last option is to upload datas from a flat file,
is it feasible?
is it manageable with a reasonable effort?
Many thanks for your feed back
Take care,
Jean Philippe
Apart from using OrgChart in the staged approach and mimicking the DB table setup, the only other way I can think of is to make use of the import from CSV file facility in OrgModeler.
See section "Importing Data from CSV Files" in the user guide PDF (e.g. for 3.0 SP2 the document is called "OrgModeler_VSN30_SP2_User_En.pdf").
I don't see this as a long term solution but does give you the option to view your structure ahead of connecting to an SAP system.
Regards,
Stephen

Hi Jean Philippe,
Welcome to the Forum. Please refer to the [Rules of Engagement|; before posting - you should specify what application and what version you are using.
You cannot upload data directly to OrgChart, although you can upload data to a database (e.g. SQL Server or Oracle) and then you could visualize your data from there in the Staged version.
You would need to respect the database table structure used by the application. These will depend on the version of the application you are using. If you let us know the version we can tell you specifically what those tables are, if you need that information at this stage.
Best regards,
Luke
