Hi All,
Client technical details are as follows.
1.Server OS - Windows Server 2003 R/2 we want to upgrade it on Windows Server 2008 R2
2.Client OS - Windows XP we want upgrade it on Windows 7
3.Database - SQL Server 2005 we want to upgrade it on SQL Server 2008
I need to confirm this before starting upgradation.

There should be no issue if you look into the SAP 8.8 notes. I would check if the hardware meets the recommended settings as this is going to be a heavy software upgrade. Also someimes sap has issues with 64 bit OSs so be attentive on that. If anything runnung the os in 32 bit mode if there is option to do so if a problem arises.

If you have made sure the customer's server specification and customer's user client have met the SAP B1 supported platform I described in my previous reply, I said you can confirm to upgrade the B1 version. There will be no problem in the upgrading.
The only problem is the database issue but the solution is also available in the upgrade process.

Supported as of 2007 A SP01 PL08, 2007 B PL15, and 8.8 PL07. Make sure to also read SAP Notes 1434624 and 1435183 as well as the SAP Notes referenced in the Related Notes sections.
