Hi Vishal,

version 8.8 is still in Ramp-up stage. You can contact your local SAP Business One representative to discuss participation.

All the best,

Kerstin

Hi,

SAP B1 8.8 unrestricted shipment(release)will be on 2nd quarter of 2010,but still if you want the production(live) database to be upgrade from 2007B to 8.8,then you must nominate the customer to sap.

Below is from sap site,

As a first step of Ramp-Up, SAP Business One customers who want to upgrade to release 8.8 will need to participate in a pre-requisite database monitoring exercise called the u201CEarly Adoption Programu201D. This additional system health check for early adopters of the new release is a way to ensure a smooth customer transition to SAP Business One 8.8 from older releases.

Please note that this monitoring is currently required for all upgrade customers . New customers don't need to run the Early Adoption Program; instead they can be directly nominated for Ramp-Up.

How it works: Using a copy of the customer's database, SAP Development will install the new release and upgrade the customer database. They will do different database tests to verify that everything is working smoothly. Once it's confirmed that everything is working as expected, the customer is approved for Ramp-Up.

With the regard to the copy of the customer database used in this exercise, SAP will strictly adhere to the standard SAP privacy and confidentiality agreement.

In case you are a customer approach you channel partner,if partner then you can access the channel partner portal to nominate your customer.

In my opinion, since the 8.8 is not fully released until Q2 2010, it might be better upgrade to 2007B first.

Thanks,

Gordon
