Updating Existing Sales Order

Hello All,

We are having a problem with updating a sales order once any of the items have been invoiced or delivered via the DI API. I don't understand why this doesn't work. You can do it via the UI and via the Business One client.

Has anyon done anything like this before? Any idea whey it would not work?

As soon as a document(-line) is based on another document(-line), you can't change the base-document(-line) anymore. Even not in the GUI since the base line is grayed out.

(Correct me if I'm wrong)

We do change the base document in such a situation (for a special situation). But were are using some SQL-statements which are really illegal according to Add-On-rules, they woul dnever pass an Add-On certification.

If anyone is interested in... I would suggest to look for another way if possible.
