Update Serial Number for Item using DTW

Hello. I need add or update the serial numbers of items using DTW, this is possible??

There is another method??

Juan,

Typically you would update the serial number when you enter receiving transactions. DTW does have the ability to import receiving transactions and on that template for the document lines you do have the ability to enter the serial number.

There is also a template to update Items and there is also a serial number, but if each item needs a unique serial number this will not help either.

Hi Eddy.

I have configurated the items with the check ManOutOnly.

By creating a Good receipt PO automatically for SBO, this create the system serial number . If I have this information recorded in the table OSRI, this can not be upgraded with DTW with the option "update" of the object oDeliveryNotes??

Apologies ... I am not sure what you are asking. The DTW does have a template for the importing of Purchase Delivery Notes and there is a column in the template for the Serial Number. Please see the templates at ...

Sorry Eddy, I liked says oPurchaseDeliveryNote object.

For example I add a Good Receipt PO in SBO, the DocNum is 10 and the Item is A0001 with 10 in quantity. This item don'y have serial number because is configurated with only in release. I will like using DTW (maybe other solution) for update the Good Receipt PO number 10 with the 10 serials number of the item A0001 (using the template Header, line and serial number of the oPurchaseDeliveryNote object. I Can do it??
