unable to release a work order-SAP PM

I am unable to release a PM work order.

Getting this message- Current status does not allow release

Order has a CSER status but I have also tried to release orders without CSER status and I get the same error message.

Message No. /DOW/PP_PM_MSG009

Please help sort this issue.

Sharing more information would help.

Some pointers - 

• Screenshot of the order header information, including status.
• Current version of the landscape you are working on.
• Long text of the error if available.

Also check if user status is blocking the release.

Hi,

Appreciate your response. I have found the solution to it. It was due to incorrect system status of the order which is not standard in SAP.
