Hi there

I'm using SDK 6v5

When a Button is pressed on the item form I receive the click event 2 times.

My questions:

1) Is this a bug ?

2) Is there a difference between the pVal-object of first click event and of second click-event ?

Hi Kurt,

in case you do not already know this, please note that you'll always get "the event" twice:

pVal.Before_Action = True / False

Hi Kurt,

Frank is right, most events (as far as I know not all) come as "before" and "after" events.

Keydown is an example where you should only get an after event.

"before key down" is hard to catch as an event, anyway

If you compare the pval object, you should be able to tell the difference between the two.

If the problem persists and you still receive multiple and equal events, you might also want to check your source code for passing on the application object "by value" / mupltiple instances of the same Application object. Each object will get and forward the same event which might be cause of your multiplication.
