Hi,
in the table MAKT we have translations for item descriptions in German (language tag "D") and Spanish (language tag "S").
If a Spanish employee logs on to SAP with the language code ES, then they would have to see the Spanish translations from the MAKT. In sales, this also works perfectly with the VA01.
However, there are at least two transactions in the SAP-module "MM purchasing" where the Spanish translations are not displayed: ME57 and ME21N
A Spanish item description is only displayed if there is only one entry for language S in the MAKT.
However, as soon as there is a description for the languages D and S in the MAKT, the German description is displayed.
That would be fine if you log on to the SAP client using the DE language.
But if you log on to the SAP client using the ES language, this behavior is no longer desirable.
Is there a way to change this behavior for the MM transactions so that the Spanish descriptions from the MAKT are also displayed in the Spanish client?
