Dear Ajith.

The plant which is registered as excisable plant only will come under Excise preview. If you are buying any raw material or semi finished product and then reprocessing in your plant, then the excise duties will be consider like the way you do for normal plant. Onlything is ensure that you have maintained that plant as excise plant in CIN.

In case of Third party sales, the delivery will be taken care by Vendor,so, Vendor will issue the excise invoice along with goods issue. In case if you want to show the excise values, you can just maintain them as statistical values in your pricing procedure so that the values will  be printed.

Hope its clear to you!!

hi kesari

here our client receives finished product from vendor and the same finished good he will sell to the customer.

while receiving goods, vendor  will charge excise. the same needs to be pass on to the customer.

how do we map this scenario.

Hi,

If you want to pass the same excise values of what you paid to your vendor, then the wayout is to maintain the assessable value condition type in your Pricing and calculate the duties based on this.

Just want to get one clarity from you: What type of register your client wants to maintain for these type of transactions and which excise Invoice they want to issue (Is it from Factory or Depot excise Invoice)

Is it Rg1 or RG23D.

As far as I know, they might wants to use RG23D.

Please check and let us know, we may have to change our process accordingly.

Note: Please close the thread as soon as you get the relevant answer, so that in future if anybody faces same issue they will get the right answer before posting new thread.

Thanks,

Regards, Sai Krishna.

hi,

I hope the suggestion you have given will work by maintaining the condition type for assessable value and calculation based on that.

our client doesn't have depots. it is through factory only.

Hi,

Yes. In this case use my first suggestion of maintaining Assessable value condition type.

Dear sai

sorry for the late reply

just two days back we got complete requirement regarding trading.

His requirement is like below

purchase from vendor 1000/- with 12.bed .24ecs and .12 secs

when he sell he sells at 1500 but pass on the same excise values.

the excise pass on should be on quantity base. suppose for 10 pcs he paid 12+.24+.12 if he sells 5 qty excise should get calculated for 5 ie 6+.12+.06

what conditions to be included in pricing and how system determines the same excise details.

where is the linkage between po and sales order. to get that excise details

pl do the needful

Ajith
