TOR & Availability check

Hi,

Can any1 explain me out of these two i.e.,TOR and Availability which 1 precedes the other.......which will trigger first either TOR or availability check? also can u explain whether availability check is not required for special stocks,if so why its not required?

Hello,

Availability check will be carried first,

If system determines there is no stock available for the Requested delivery date , then it will transfer the requirements to MRP for either Procuring externally or produce internally.

So Availability check will be carried first.
