To to extract S4HANA Cloud 2208 custom field data for custom report development.

Hi Expert,

I have created a few Custom fields on WBS Screen in S4HANA Cloud 2208 with field extensibility as shown in the below screen.

But I am not able to find the API for these fields to extract these data in Custom Report.

For the standard field I have got the API details but not for these custom fields.

It will be helpful if anyone helps me with this.

In this context, there is only ODATA API that is exposed. Now, that you have enabled it, you can perform a GET operation on the ODATA API (https://api.sap.com/api/API_ENTERPRISE_PROJECT_SRV_0002/overview) and see the data in the custom field. https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HANA_CLOUD/988903b47d7040f6ac4ec02e44bb58e4/134dbb0c012e4e4c98488947...

Hi Rajesh,

In the "Custom Fields and Logic" app, when you choose this context of Project Element to add the field, then one of tabs provided to the right is the ODATA APIs and SOAP APIs. The API Enterprise Project Model is the one you can enable. If you enable this usage then your custom field will be added to this API.

OData APIs are already enabled, refer to the below screen and I didn't find anything to enable under SOAP APIs.

Can you help to understand , were i can find the details for these Custom Field ?

All Fields are created for business context "Project Element (I_PPM_TASK)"
