To Make WBS element Mandatory for a particular Document type- Contract

Hi ,

I have a requiment where I have to make to Make WBS element Mandatory for a particular Document type of Contract . I don't want to use any User exits or Badis for this .

Please let me know if there is any configuration that can be done to achieve this .

Hi Hari,

There is no std configuration to achieve this.

Go for any enhancement with the help of your technical consultant-ABAPER

While creating contract what Account assignment will you use?because if it is P then WBS element i hope will be a mandatory entry automatically...otherwise please process as suggested by Umakanth

Hi ,

Yes , for P project has been set as Mandatory but how do I configure the system so that for that particluar document type only P can be used i.e P should be the only entry possible for that document type.

In think for this you have to go for certain enhancements like BAdI

Make the field mandatory in field selection for Account assignment category

Hi ,

It is already made mandatory in account assignment categories but My requirment is that it should be mandatory for only one particular document type . In the account assignment categories , there is no where we can specify the document type . It is only at account assignment category level but not at document type level .
