Third party sale order qty issue

Hi,

While creating third party sales order: PR has been created for 20 items automaticallyu2026u2026

Now I have created PO w.r.t. PR for 8 qtyu2026.

I did GR for 4 qty and done invoice for the sameu2026

Now when I am trying to create PO again wrt PR for remaining item i.e. qty 12 ( I tried for qty 1 also)..

I am getting error :

Materials for PReq 104, item 00010, already partially ordered

Hi utsagar

Say you have created sales order for 20pcs and now If you have created purchase order with partial qty only 12pcs you can do MIGO and MIRO and billing for that 12 pcs then again you create the purchase order and system will copy the remaining qty 8pcs and then you can do MIGO and MIRO and then billing

Hi,

In standard process on a PR we are going to create PO for the total quantity. There is no logic to create different PO's for same PR.

If u r sure of ur requirement u can follow as Chandra Sekher advised.

Hi,

system will not allow you to create purchase order.

Goto VA02, Item schedule lines change the order quantity to 8 from 20.

enter another delivery date and qty 12 in second row press enter, system automatically creates another line item for same purchase requisition, you can see it in same screen.

E.g 10000110 10 8 qty

10000110 20 12 qty

Now goto create purchase order with same PR number and line item number 20.

I wish to confirm if its comes with an yellow exclamation or red stop sisgnal.

I think this would be just yellow warning message and you would need to press enter and continue.
