The table is cross-client

Hi experts,

When I determine standard sorting for line items, than I received a caution "The table is cross-client".

I would appreciate if somebody can explain what does it mean?

Best regards,

SAP tables mainly are 2 types client dependent and client independent. In the same SAP system Exx there might be multiple clients i.e. Exx-100 Exx-200. If table ABCD has the same data across the clients then it is a client independent table or cross-clients. If all data in a table is dependent to a client (i.e. 100 vs 200 above) then table is client dependent or NOT cross-client.

I hope it helps,
