Hi,
I have to reverse the Materials Management Posting period in S4 Hana, unfortunately opened till November 2017. The Material ledger also activated. so far some FICO configurations pending in this development system and there is nothing posted in front of Financial account. But i am getting below error while changing the current period FROM 12 TO 8 month in T code OMSY.
The company code XXXX can no longer be initialized Message no. MM011 Diagnosis You wanted to initialize the company code XXXX in Materials Management. However, this is not possible because material valuation records already exist for it. System Response The system re-enters the old values. Procedure If you want to change the current period for this company code nevertheless, choose Close period on the Material Master screen. However, be sure to read the documentation for the period closing program first.
