TDS Certificate issue

Hi all,

While doing J1INCHLN, the following entry is generated, than i done J1INBANK, and than J!INCERT, but it shoe now doc is

Clearing Doc Number 1000000015

Challan No 000000004000

Challan Dt 09.01.2012

Section 194I

Total Basic TDS Remitted 0.00

Total Surcharge Remitted. 0.00

Total ECess Remitted 0.00

Total Tax Remitted 0.00

Is this is responsible for not generating Certificate.

If yes, Please help me in resolving the issue.

HI friend after updating the bank chellan you will get a message like that. so it will not be a problem. you can check that clearing document. The Entry will be like this

Bank Clearing -Cr

Tds Payable - Dr

You can update Bank chellan and certificate using T code J1inmis

Have you followed the below process:

1. Create Challan -J1INCHLN

2. Update the bank Challan Details: J1INBANK

3. Generate Certificate : J1INCERT

if yes then please let us know what is the error message you are getting at J1INCERT.

Though system shows zero, the document will be correctly posted.

FB03 - Check the Clearing document

For Certificate, use T CODE - J1INCERT

Yes i am getting the error at the time of J1INCERT.

Certificate is not printing

Have you defined the number ranges for Withholding Tax Certificates for Vendors and Customers in Configuration.

No this message is not at the time of J1INCERT,

This is put from J1INCHLN.

I want to confirm this that at the time Certifiacte of certifiacte i am not getting certifiacte print.
