USD/CAD ratio in OBBS (TCURF) is maintained as 1:1 with a Valid From 01.01.1800

Now, when maintaining the exchange rate in OB08 (TCURR), the exchange rate ratio has always been 1:1 but recently, i noticed that it has been posting the ratios as 0:0

Nothing was changed. Only thing was that I maintained USD/CAD exchange rate every 2 weeks.

The OB08 shows the ratio being 1:1 however the TCURR table shows as 0:0

I am getting an error when posting invoices and I am guessing that this inconsistency is the culprit :

"Enter rate cad / usd rate type M for 30.08.2013 in the system settings"

NOTE: the exchange rate for 30.08.2013 is already maintained in OB08 and ratio is 1:1 however the ratio in TCURR table for this date is 0:0

Any thoughts folks?

Thanks

PS: I already tried to add a new entry in OBBS with a new valid from date of 01.01.2012  for USD/CAD ratio of 1:1

I then deleted and re-entered the exchange rate in OB08 but this didn't fix the ratios in TCURF either (still shows 0:0)

Hello Kashif,

Conversion Ratio's are picked from Table TCURF, and in TCURR it will show 0:0 only.

The error could be cause of some different reason.

Kindly check once the Table TCURR, whether the exchange rate for CAD/USD  for exch rate type  "M" for date "30.08.2013" is maintained or not.

Regards,

Gunjan

Yes,  CAD/USD was the reason. Maintained that and it worked. Not sure why because we are maintaining direct quote.

As for ratio 0:0, I do see 1:1 for other dates for the given rate
