Hi

For individual assets you can do it through AS03 , Assets Values.

However for mass volume of the assets please use S_P99_41000192

Hi,

It is not possible asset wise to pick the data through the G/L account. When you do the depreciation run it post totals by G/L account/ BA/ Profit center/ cost center,... There are NO asset details in FI for the depreciation postings.

To see if the values in AM the same as in FI you can use the transaction ABST2 - Account Reconciliation.

Think about that asset accounting is a subledger!! For the details you have to the subledger

Thanks for reply...

My Requirement is this:----

Suppose My Asset value is 50,00,000 in march 2009 and in April 2009, it is 30,00,000 (below 20,00,000 from March)...we are unable to identify, how that huge diff. comes in it... and in May it is 32,00,000 (only 2,00,000 diff.)...

So, we want to examine that diff. b/w March and April months....

How can we check the depreciation month wise.....

regards....

Paul's suggestion above is the route to go. These two reports are reading table ANLP. You can customize them to access for one or multiple periods.

In my case, due to the large number of assets at our company, we also have a BI report that allows us to obtain the same information. Return time is quicker than ECC reports.

When there are large differences between the Months perhaps look first to the reports:

S_ALR_87012050 - Asset Acquisitions

S_ALR_87012052 - Asset Retirements

Run the standard reports from the 2 months, dump them in EXCEL and compaire them there to found the assets with the large differences.

In the most cases there is an aquasition / retirement or an asset is on the end of it use-fule live and don't have longer depreciation.

With these reports mentioned here, you can also use AFBP - log of posting run which will show you depreciation posted by period with list of your assets if checked.

Use the transaction ARQ0 - Ad Hoc Reports :

and the reports:

27 Posted depreciation, related to cost centers

28 Posted Depreciation by Asset and Posting Period

When you want you can copy them and create your own version

Hi friend,

Use the Transaction code AR01. Here you can select the Asset wise/Class wise and see your results.

or use Transaction code OARP - Click on Asset History sheet - put the cursor on RAGITT01 Asset History Sheet and Execute.

Here give the required details and execute.
