System Conversion to SAP S/4HANA from SAP ERP on HANA

hi,

is there any roadmap to help with the conversion to s/4HANA? especially from SAP ECC on Hana. Do we really need solman for this conversion? We already have hana DB in Action. What are the main steps and Tools that we can use?

I have another question, hana test /migration cockpit, do we need an S/4hanan system to be able use them? Is there a way to perform these Steps in SAP ERP?

back to solman. Are there any other ways to use the Maintenance Planner without the Solution Manager?

1) Consider the S4H conversion guida, It explains how is the process, tools, relevant notes, etc.

2) Consider OpenSAP courses related to S4H Conversion projects, it gives best practices, lessons learned, etc.

3) For migration cockpit, this tool is available within your S4H system. Usually in system conversions this tool is not required unless you are setting up a new business process with an additional functionality (once you are on your S4H system).

There are plenty of documents on this topic. It depends what you need. If your support contract is Enterprise Support, you can join the SAP S/4HANA Value Map, which will list all the content available for our Enteprise Support customers, phase by phase. Within the Value Map, you can as well raise questions to experts or peers. Enterprise Support empowerment for SAP S/4HANA are listed here

If your support contract is standard, you may want to have a look at the free OpenSAP trainings, for example the S4H11. There are multiple trainings about conversion.
