System checking on the Number of Maximum Dependents for IT0167

Hi All,

I have configured Benefit module to use the "Dependent" tab in IT0167 with the following:

  • Under Health Plan:
    • Define Dependent Coverage Option
    • Define Minimum and Maximum  Number of Dependents
  • Under Flexible Administration --> Dependent/Beneficiary Eligibility
    • Define Family Member Groupings
    • Define Dependent Eligibility Rule Variants
    • Define Dependent Eligibility Rules
    • Assign Eligibility Rule Variant to Plan

sample:

Benefit Area: M1

Country Grouping (MOLGA) = 14 (Malaysia)

Dependent Coverage option: EE+C

Maximum number of dependent: 2 child

When I would like to enroll new health plan with 3 children, the system does not prompt any warning message even though number of child exceed the maximum number of dependent configured in the system.

I have tried to enrolled the same health plan to one of the PERNR (US country) in the IDES system and the system is able to pop up the warning message!

However, when I enrolled the same health plan to the PERNR (MY country) in the same IDES system, the system doees not pop up any warning message.

May I know does anyone came across this scenario? Am I missing any configuration?

Please help.

Thanks.

Hi Kim,

Kindly check the number of dependent for subtype in V_T74HR.

Hi Meera,

Thanks for your reply.

I have configured it in V_T74HR. It seems like SAP doesn't have checking on the number of minimum/maximum of dependents for health plan for country Malaysia.

I have opened one OSS note to SAP for further checking.
