Summarised JIT call

Hi

Iam creating control cycle and i have selected External proc. 0007 Summarized JIT calls (w/o summary).

JIT call profil - 0001

When I do message determination then i get message - System will find no message records for a JIT call.

Please inform what message settings i have to do

In SAP Standard, the Partner role is OA in the JIT call profile 0001.

The missing link is the tie-up b/w Partner role and the JIT profile which is done via PJNK2 txn--> Change message condition

Choose MAFO type

Decide whether you want a vendor-specific or Profile-specific message.

Let us say you choose Plant/JC profile for this sceanrio.

Key in your plant and JIT call profile

Provide the partner function OA along with medium and dispatching time.

After doing the above when you get back to your control cycle and click on message determination you should see things okay.

Also it is advisable to ensure that the Partner role is available in your Scheduling agreement>Header>Partner.

After you trigger a JIT call from your Kanban board and then transmit it through PJNA, hopefully things should work for you as expected.

Hi, Think i did not specify the communication parameters in the earlier response. O

Once you are in PJNK2 and have completed the JIT call profile and Partner function tie-up, block the JIT call record there and click on communication icon/F2. You need to specify an Output device there.

As you know message determination is essential during the summarised JIT process as it has impact on the subsequent grouping of JIT calls etc.,

Try this and hopefully things should be okay. Please revert back.
