SuccessFactors project

Dear Friends,

Can anyone help me how does a project plan for SFSF Performance mgmt. look like!

I know the implementation methodology.

I know what an Admin does, Implementation, Functional consultant does. I know something about business requirements (which I would get a grip of shortly).

But I am curious how other mechanisms viz. transports work from test to production instance! Are there any special authorizations or activities we need to take care as we do for instance a workflow-user WF-BATCH for workflow in SAP HR or anything like that!

How does a cut-over plan look like!

Any ideas are welcome.

Regards,

Bharat

Hi Bharat,

Usually you just have 1 consultant for a PM/GM project that does everything (scoping, workbooks, configuration, testing support, data migration support, etc).

Some configuration can be imported into Production instance. The XML-based configuration can be exported from Test and imported into Production. Some configuration might be repeated in Production, but I am not 100% sure for a PM/GM project.

Cutover plan is similar to most technology projects, but with PM/GM-specific activities.

Best regards,

Luke
