SuccessFactors - Changing the user in form route map

Hi Everyone,

Does anybody already got this situation where it needs to change the user of validation step of a route map ?  I would like to change the last approver (which is a user) of a form route map by another one.

What would be the options if I don't want to restart the form from the begining ?

Hi Hadrien,

There is an admin activity and  a feature called - Route Form .

Grant the permission as below to the Admin and search Route Form in admin tools.

There is an option to skip/approve the current step and add another step where the approver could be your required user:

Thanks for the reply !  By any chance is there a way to create this new step in advance?

For instance the form is based on a 5 steps route map (4 is an approbation step, and 5 the signature).  The form is pending on the 2nd step and I need to change the user of the fourth step.

Withe the Change Form functionnality I can only replace the current step by a new one, is that right ?  Thus in the previous example, it means that I must wait the form to be on the fourth step to be able to move it to another one and change the target user.

Am I correct ?

Hi Hadrien,

As it has stated in above example if you are in step 2 you can select the New Step to be 4 to move to step 4.

Also if you want to preset it you can do so while configuring the Route Map so that it automatically jumps to next step on due date :

Also I would like to add to my above comment that if you want to route a form to any step of the same stage or any other stage then you can select the following option. You can do the change in routing from ANY step, need not wait for any step to complete.

Admin Tools --> Manage Forms by user --> Route Form

Accordingly you can add Reason for changes or Comment.
