Hi all,

today we identified a strange behaviour of SF Sync Report RH_SFI_SYNCHRONIZE_EMPL_DATA.

It runs in regrularly in background and stores the result as a flat file on the application server.

We've identified that employees are missing in the file.

I've tried to run it manually in back- and foreground for one particular PERNR. Result is fine.

Than I've run the report manually in fore- and background and checked the log:

It says 3263 employees successfully processed.

Than I've checked the flat file. It contains 3263 records. But the employee is missing, although it was processed:

The log cleary says that there was no error. It shows the same warning as when I did it for the single PERNR.

My suspicion is that the extraction to the file is wrong and it is transferring the wrong employee records.

Does anybody had the same experience and found a solution? I've looked into SAP support launchpad but could not find anything similar.

Thanks.

Hi Timmy,

we are using this interface report on several systems with a large amount of persons and never had such a problem.

But here are some hints:

  1. What are you using as USERID? If you don't use the SAP-PERNR it might happen that two employee dataset have the same USERID and then there's only one output dataset. If you don't use the PERNR you should also make sure that the USERID never changes for an employee. It will damage the delta table (dublicate entries).
  2. Were you using the deltarun or forced sync? Keep in mind that without forced sync you will get only changed and removed / terminated employees
  3. Are you using concurrent employment in your system? Then, the report will only export one of the personel numbers for each employee.
  4. Try to have a look at the delta tables! You can do that via SE16 or use the included monitoring webdynpro. It will show you when and how an employee was exported.
