SUB BOM AND MRP CALCULATION

Dear All

I'm looking for the right process to manage sub bom's into a global bom (Sap B1, Hana).

I can create a BOM of production (item A) with 2 other production bom's inside (without stages)

- item B (component X and 2 days of labor)

- item C ( component Y and 3 days of labor).

When I run MRP for item A it doesn't calculate the expected date. Recommendation is proposing 2 production orders (B+C) but without calculation time of each sub Bom. So all production orders are placed on the latest day (due date of item A) instead of 3 days before the due date (date of the larger sub item time, C).

Hi,

MRP does not use Production Time in BOM for calculations, then you have to set lead time for B (2 days) & C (3 days) in Item Master Data >>> Planning Tab, then run MRP again.
