STORAGE_PARAMETERS_WRONG_SET in program RSCORE00

Hi Guys!

I hope you can help me with following issue:

Every day at about 0:05am, a short dump is caused by the program RSCORE00 with the runtime error STORAGE_PARAMETERS_WRONG_SET.

The current program had to be terminated because of an
error when installing the R/3 System.

The program had already requested 708639984 bytes from the operating

system with 'malloc' when the operating system reported after a
further memory request that there was no more memory space
available.

As I am not very experienced in basis administration, I am not sure how to solve this. Can you help me?

Here are some useful hints:

SAP Basis Version 7.02, Patch 08

Memory: 2 GB RAM

OS: Windows Server 2003 R2

Best regards,

Christoph

Hi

The details of ABAP dump will specify the SAP profile parameter associated with this issue.

Please provide the parameter name, current value and expected value as per dump.

Or paste the whole ABAP dump here.

How much physical memory and swap space does your system has?

Hi Roshan!

Thanks for your reply!

Find here some lines out of the dump which could be useful:

I am not sure which parameter causes the issue. Here are some which are mentioned in some SAP notes:

PHYS_MEMSIZE = 512

em/blocksize_KB = 1024

em/address_space_MB = 512

Is that useful for you?

Best regards,

Christoph

Warning: EM-Memory exhausted:  Workprocess gets PRIV

Please try increasing the value of following parameters, restart the instance and check results:

1. ztta/roll_extension

2. em/initial_size_MB

3. abap/buffersize

Follow the documentation in RZ11 for recommended values of each parameter.

Hi Roshan!

Thanks for your answer!

I have decreased the values mentioned in the dump-message (abap/heap_area_dia and abap/heap_area_nondia). Now the error message changed: the new message is SYSTEM_NO_ROLL.

Could you imagine what the issue is now?

Best regards,

Christoph
