Dear All
We want to restrict the force UD for inspection lot whose MIC has been rejected,we do not want to go for status profile creation.Eg. for MIC X range is 10 -15 we got the value 16 which is rejected and with lot should be lock automatically and force UD should not be allowed.after unlocking the lock UD is possible.we have seen manual that through Function there is the option of block and unblock,is it possible of block the lot when Result Recording is out of range.
Yes.. I am a bit confused as there is no real "Force" of a UD. There is a force closing of the MICS. Now you can set your mics so that basically nothing can be recorded that is out-of-spec. (really not wise). Then you would have to force close the MIC's with no value to do the UD. In the UD screen you get the question "do you want to force close the open characteristics" so it's not really a force closing of the UD but of the characteristics.
To prevent anyone from force closing a MIC you can use an authorization object in security. To control access to the “force closure” functionality in an inspection lot, use authorization object Q_CHAR_PRC.
You would only give this security then to a handful of people. I.e. a lab manager or QA review person.

Hi Kunal, logically sounds difficult! System doesn't ask for force UD if you have recorded all the parameters and evaluated up to status 5. It (force UD) is independent on the MIC rejection or acceptance. You have to just make sure that you have filled all the readings for all MICs to avoid force UD screen.
