Dear Gurus,

what is the purpose of STOCK ZERO LINES in MB31,

please explain with example.

Dear,

The "Suggest Zero Lines" indicator is to allow you to add unplanned items in MB31 or MB1A. So if you had done GI for a order as per BOM, but you also want to issue one more component, or after issuing complete component you need to issue additional quantities, you can use this indicator.

Basically used for doing unplanned GI or GR

in routine we should not use this.

Yes we can use for unplanned consumption during Gr and GI of production order.

If we want to enter the item with zero qty we can use that option
