Stock transfer in MD04 not matching with MB5T report

Hi,

For a particular material in the stock requirement list (MD04), stock transfer qty is showing as 4. But in MB5T report is not showing any values.

What could be the reason?

Hi Ravi,

To add to Hari;

In MD04 - for the material in the Receiving plant the STO appears if the order quantity is still open (which means it has not been received by doing a GR - this is applicable even if you have or have not done a Goods issue or a Outbound delivery for the STO from the Supplying plant). At the same time it would appear in the MB5T only if it has been Issued out of the Supplying plant and not yet received in the receiving plant.

In MD04 for the material in the supplying plant the STO appears (under MRP element Ord.DS) as a issue quanity if the STO has not been issued (using 351 or by 651- NL delivery). if Outbound delivery 651 had been used it would appear as a Delvy item in MD04 if PGI has not yet been done against it. At the same time in MB5T it appears in both the cases (if you give the supplying plant in MB5T selection screen) until it is received by doing a GR in the receiving plant.

Hi,

I haven't get the query completely, Hope the below information will help you.

In MD04 you can see the most up to date stock and requirements situation.

In MB5T you can see the material stock which is in Transit.

How you have done the stock transfer is it using stock transfer order? or transfer posting? If you have done using stock transfer order then you can see Stock in Transit in MB5T. If it is using transfer posting you see in T Code MMBE -Stck trans.(plnt)

Thanks for the reply. I did get the functionality explained by you people

But i do see the Stock transfer qty in MD04. There are not quantities in MB5T report. That means there are no goods issues from the other plant.

At the same time, I do not see the quantity in MMBE report as well.

I do have some open purchase orders for the material.

How do i related these open orders to the stock transfer quantity in MD04.

Hi Ravi,

The quanity will appear in MMBE for the receiving plant under the Stock in transit if it has been issued out from the supplying plant. In MD04 for the Open orders (MRP element 'PO Item') of Stock transfer type can be identified by looking into the Deliv./recv plant column. If it is an STO this column would have supplying/ delivering plant code.
