Stock posting error

HI friends,

Can any body please solve my error.

While posting the stock in MB1C am getting an error "period 012/2007 is not opend for account type S and G/L 799999"

can any body pls resolve this? and can we trace out the error from the message no.?

Hi

In transaction OB52 select the variant and also select the account 'S' change the year to 2007 to period 12

Hi,

This is because the posting period is not open for the account type S. Check the posting period variant assigend for your company code. By default it will be 0001 (SAP standard)

Chec this variant and the 'from' and 'to' periods assigned for this for account type 'S'.

goto OB52 and select u r variant which u have assigned to the company code may be 0001 or 1000 and then select the account type S and then change the years to 2007
