Stock not showing in MMBE after GR taken against an outbound delivery for a STO purchase order

Dear SAP Gurus,

We have taken GR (movement type-101) against an outbound delivery for a Plant-Plant STO purchase order. The purchase order is having an account assignment to a sales order.

We could see this GR document showing GR stock in transit:ac.assgn in MB51 (though GR document posted with movement type-101 and also stock in transit is not appearing in MB5T).

We could not see this GR stock in MMBE (neither also dispatched against sales order).

I have attached screenshot of MB51.

We could see no storage location entered in GR document

I have searched many SCN threads but could not find any suitable answers.

Can you please help on this issue

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,

If your stock is foreseen to be stock managed then SAP would take care that you can't do a receipt without storage location. It would send error messages. So this is just evidence that you Sales Order stock is not setup to be stock managed. Just look into the wiki and compare the setup with your setup.

Hi Jurgen,

Thanks for your immediate response and help.

Can you please check MB51 screenshot where storage location is missing (I could see in GR document there is no stor loc entered). Whether this will cause this issue.

Thanks in advance.

As I already explained and emphasized with the link, sales order stock can have different setups. In one case you get stock in the other case you won't see stock.

Hi Jurgen,

Thanks for your immediate response.

We have selected the "Special stock" while executing MMBE, but stock still not appears. Also we could see accounting assignment tab in Material master and also have a valuation class.

Is there anything to check.

it can be as simple as missing to tick the box for displaying special stock in MMBE

it can as well have to do with the setup of your sales order stock, whether you use valuated or nonvaluated sales order stock
