- Characteristics have to be kept separate in value fields and quantity fields

- Values are updated in the characteristics

I wouldn't call 'characteristic' in CO-PA a 'valuation level'. It's simply a dimension in OLAP cube, but, of course, the perception of terms could be different amongst people.

Maybe you're right... do we have another opinion?

>I wouldn't call 'characteristic' in CO-PA a 'valuation level'

>. It's simply a dimension in OLAP cube, but, of course,

>the perception of terms could be different amongst people.

I think, there would be thousands opinions I always look at CO-PA as on OLAP cube. Actually, the new concept of profitbality analysis, enhanced by NetWeaver abilities, describes CO-PA exactly as 'cube'. And in 'cube' there is no 'valuation' as such like in Kubik-Rubik there is none .
