Standard Characteristics LOBM_LFDAT for delivery date

Dear Experts

I have updated the Update standard Characteristics and the characteristic "LOBM_LFDAT" for the delivery date was created ..

I have created a new class and assigned the charcteristics to it then I assigned the class for the material ..And I have Activated Batch Classification for Goods Movements in IM for Mvt 101 and 561to be"Classification carried out in background (all batches)"

The problem is when I post a goods receipt I click on classification button in the batch tab .. there is no LOBM_LFDAT and when I look into table AUSP I found no records for this characteristics .. its like never hold the delivery date automatically

Please Advice as it very important

The problem is I need the characteristics to be filled automatically like standard characteristics ..

If I created a new characteristics reference to table MKPF and field BSUDAT I have to click on classification button in batch tab then the user have to enter the GR date by him self which may cause a lot of data entry mistakes or even manipulation

No, the last goods receipt date is stored in your batch record. you should be able to see it in MSC3N transaction.

This is in batch tables I mentioned earlier, no need to reference MSEG, and with the reference technic the value can be copied into classification automatically.

Dear R Brahmankar I think that LOBM_HSDAT is the Manufaturing Date not the GR Date

Dear Jürgen L. thanks alot for your help ... I changed the characteristic with LOBM_VFDAT expiration date, shelf life , And it works now ..

But what I wanted in the beginning is to sort by the posting date of the GR document "Goods Actual Delivery Date" not planned delivery date

Please help me in this point if you can

You can use the GR Date as the Characteristics to sort the Batches.

You can use the following - LOBM_HSDAT

you can create your own characteristic in CT04 and reference the MCHA-LWEDT and MCH1-LWEDT

Best you display in CT04 how this is made for LOBM_FVDAT and then do it equal for you own characteristic.

Then use your own characteristic in the sort class.

What value shall this characteristic have? delivery date? which delivery date? 561 movement does not have a delivery date.

according to docu, this LOBM_LFDAT can only be used ifor selection in batch determination.
