Hi,

When I'm trying to post GR, I'm getting the following error. I have not maintained any of the unit of measure conversion factors. The material master BUM is KG and PO unit is also KG.

Specify at least 1 unit

Message no. BM018

Diagnosis

No unit was included. Conversion or determination of conversion factors is therefore not possible.

Kindly let me know why is this error triggering.

This error is occurring when I created a new warehouse and assigned a movement type for the same.

Hi

Check whether you've defined a weight unit and/or proposal of unit of measure in customizing

IMG -> LE -> WM -> master data -> control parameters for warehouse

As per your message ,its very clear that your odering unit is differnt from unit of materil lying in stock.please check & resolve your problem.

This error will happen only when there is inventory unit that is different from the order unit in the PO. So check while posting the GR a different unit is getting populated.

Check whether unit of issue or other type of UOMs like production unit etc are maintained in the material master
