Small Quantities being confirmed not displaying components in Goods Movement during confirmation.

Hi,

Thanks in advance for your help.

When an order is created for e.g. 1000 EA of Material A then component 1 should backflush and reflect in Goods Movements when confirming the production order. The component is not reflecting on Goods Movements on Confirmation unless a larger Yield quantity of Material A is maintained in CO11N.

Why would this happen?

Thanks

JJ

Hello

Component quantity is rounded up or down, to the next whole number. Therefore, if your component quantity would be less than 0,5 it would be rounded to 0, in order to avoid overconsumption.

Please read carefully this note, which explains the system behavior and also brings a modification to change the system behavior:

359621 - Confirmation: Comm. rounding of unit of measure PC

Thanks, Caetano.

It does not explain the full situation.

Material A 1 EA needs 42G of Component1

Order = 10 000 EA Material A ( therefore 42 000 G of Component1)

Confirmation of 1 EA of Material A- no Goods movements in Confirmation CO11N is shown of Component1

Confirmation of 3 EA of Material A- no Goods movements in Confirmation CO11N is shown of Component1

Confirmation of 4 EA of Material A- shows 294G in Goods movements in Confirmation CO11N of Component1 instead of 168G

Why would it show nothing for the lower quantities an incorrectly for 4 EA?

Only when 7EA are confirmed then Component1 correctly reflects as 294G

Thanks in advance.
