Sick leave problem.

Hello,

A new employee is entitled for sick leave proportinately(1.25 days p/month i.e.15/12)from the year of appointment,but can avail sick leave only after completion of 1 year service, take for example, if date of appointment is 01/03/08 then entitlement of s/l is for 10months(01/03/08 to 31/12/08)@1.25per month=12.5days,but can avail s/l on or after 01/03/09.

Can u please let me know the steps wat should be the steps how to make it automatic and for all employees 15 days sick leave should not be taken.

This problem has started form January 2008.

Hi,

you can do this by setting the validity dates of the quota.

That is, the quota can have start date as the end of accrual year and end date as the end of the year.

E.g. If emp joins on 01.01.2009...then SL quota will have start date as 01.01.2009 and end as 31.12.2009 but deduction period start date is 01.01.2010 to 31.12.2010

Under the validity dates & deduction period node node,

Valid from - accrual period - Start

Valid to - accrual period - end

Deduction from - end of validity

deductiont to - end of validity or 999months (31.12.999)

HI,

For this you have to use time evaluation after completion of one month quota will be generated. If you are using -ve Time Management you can use schema TQTA for this.
