Hi All
Shelf Life Expiry range is maintained in Material aaster say 36 months.
For the same material at batch master level 30 months SLED is maintained for specific batches.
During transactions the Batch mater SLED is overwritten by Material master SLED.
The requirement is that Material master SLED should not override the Batch master SLED.
Request your expert views in this regard.
Kind Regards

We are facing the same problem. For few of our specific batches we want to maintain a different SLED value. When we manually input the data and then any transaction is made then the SLED value is recalculated as per Material Master SLED value. Each time warning is shown and there is no option to adopt No.
Please enlight the process.

Put in both the DOM and SLED and I don't think it will overwrite it.
Also, usually, when the system recalculates the shelf life it generates a message and asks the user if they want to recalculate the SLED. The default is yes. Users need to be trained to say no.
Please do an F1 on the various fields in the material master and it will explain the process.
